30 Days of Gratitude Wrap-up

30 Days of Gratitude

This month I participated in the 30 Days of Gratitude challenge on Twitter and was able to reflect on what I am grateful for. This was the perfect social media challenge and the different questions / prompts each day opened my eyes to the little things to be grateful for.

30 Days of Gratitude

Here are some of my favorite posts from the last month:

My trip to Gatlinburg is one of my favorite memories because it is one of my last memories with my grandfather before he passed away. We took the trip at the end of July in 2015 and he passed away almost two weeks later. At the time I had no idea it would be one of my last moments with him, but I am so thankful we were able to take that trip. He loved the south and log cabins so it was the perfect trip for him!

I really enjoy nature and the beauty hidden in the national parks. They are truly a place of God and are breathtaking!

This one was hard to answer because there are literally so many people in my life I am grateful for!

You can watch the story about my grandfather in WWII here.

Every year on Thanksgiving Eve my family and I go to this whole in the wall Mexican restaurant for dinner and margaritas! It’s one of the best places to eat in my hometown and is featured in a 13 ‘Hole In The Wall’ Restaurants In Ohio That Will Blow Your Taste Buds Away article.

It is easy to say I am grateful for my friends and family, or the life that I have. But overall, participating in this challenge helped me appreciate the smaller things that I don’t realize I am grateful for every day. I highly recommend that everyone participate in a challenge like this to reflect on what they are grateful for. I am glad that I did it and it was a fun thing to do on social media this November!
