Another month, another monthly favorites! February was a very busy month between school, skating, sorority functions, and more. I also started applying for jobs since I graduate in May. I am about 15 days late, but here are my monthly favorites for February!
This month I was all about the comfort when it came to fashion.
Comfort Colors sweatshirts – This sweatshirt is hands down the comfiest sweatshirt I have ever owned. I want to wear it pretty much every day to class and it’s usually my go-to sweatshirt to put on first thing when I get home from class if I am not already wearing it.
The Social Life Greek apparel – I may be a little bias about this one because I am an ambassador for TSL, but they have the cutest and most affordable Greek apparel out there! I love representing Kappa Delta and wearing my letters and apparel around campus.
Seaside Logo Tee from Southern Shirt Company – This tee shirt is one of the softest shirts I have ever owned. I have always wanted to purchase a shirt from Southern Shirt and they had an amazing sale, so I decided to go for it. This tee is one of my favorite purchases and its another comfy item I enjoy wearing to class, whether it’s with jeans, leggings, or norts.
– I got this primer as a sample with one of my Sephora orders last month and I definitely love it! It goes on very smoothly and helps my makeup stay on all day. It doesn’t look cakey and eliminates the pores on my face. The primer is on the more expensive side, but it’s well worth the price and a little bit goes a long way. I definitely would suggest Smashbox primer to anyone looking for a good primer. Photo Finish Oil Free Foundation Primer Pore Minimizing
Clinique Quickliner for Eyes – I used to use this eyeliner, but it started getting to be too expensive for my college budget. I recently ordered it again and realized how much I love it! It is easy to apply and goes on so smoothly. I like it a lot better than the drug store eyeliner I have been using because a little goes a long way, and it lasts all day. I don’t have to reapply more later because it doesn’t rub off or smudge as the day goes on. The $16 is definitely worth it.
I’ll Show You by Justin Bieber – I guess you can say I got the Bieber fever. I never really was a fan of JB until he released his new album Purpose. I really like this song because it is catchy and different.
Piece by Piece (Idol Version) by Kelly Clarkson – Wow, just wow. This performance by Kelly Clarkson made me want to bawl my eyes out. I have always been a fan of Kelly, but this song is definitely one of her best! You feel the emotions she is feeling through her voice and lyrics. It is one powerful song! You can purchase the recorded Idol version in the iTunes store now!
Egg and avocado toast – This is my new favorite breakfast. Its healthy and filling, giving
me the energy I need to get through my morning!
Boom Chicka Pop popcorn – I have seen bloggers and Youtubers like Alisha Marie post things about this brand of pop corn and I didn’t really understand the hype until I tried it. Its so good and is the perfect late night snack.
Starbucks Bistro Boxes – These little food boxes are the perfect little snack on the go.
Kappa Delta – This month, my chapter hosted our spring philanthropy, Mac and Cheese with the Kaydees, and we raised over $1,700 for PCAA! I cannot believe how incredible and hard working the women in my chapter are. We also had an AOT retreat and I have never felt closer to my sisters than I do now. This retreat rekindled my love for KD, our ritual, and my sisters. It was so much fun, and it was nice to get away from social media and the internet for a day.
Boomerang app – This app allows you to create mini video that loop. It is a fun way to take videos for Instagram and I will definitely be creating more!
