Blogger Holiday Card Exchange + Ordering Holiday Cards from Basic Invite

Ordering Holiday Cards from Basic Invite

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Although I have been a little stressed lately (the holidays get super overwhelming and crazy busy) and haven’t had too much time to blog, I am really excited that Christmas is only a little over a week away and I am really getting into the holiday spirit! Holiday Cards from Basic Invite

Since we are so close to Christmas, I am sure your mailboxes are starting to flood with pretty holiday cards and best wishes. For the second year in a row, I am participating in a blogger holiday card exchange, organized by the beautiful Lauren Lindmark from Daily Dose of Charm, and this year I teamed up with Basic Invite to create my holiday cards. My cards turned out beautifully and I can’t wait to send them out!

One of the reasons I chose to order my holiday cards from Basic Invite over all of the other companies out there is because Basic Invite has over 250 Christmas and holiday card designs. Along with Christmas and holiday cards, Basic Invite offers work holiday party invites and Christmas Eve party invites. Basic Invite also offers great features that most other websites do not offer. Holiday Cards from Basic Invite

Features Basic Invite offers:

  • Foil – Foil holiday cards are available in gold, silver, and rose gold. Customers can choose flat or raised foil on all of Basic Invite’s foil designs. I love this feature because it adds a dazzling touch to your cards. The gold is definitely my favorite!
  • Almost Unlimited Colors – Basic Invite is one of the few websites that allows customers almost unlimited color options with instant previews online. Once you select a design you can change the color of each element on the card to over 180 different color options so you can make sure the card is exactly how you want it down to the littlest detail. This option really sets Basic Invite apart from almost any other online stationery company and I love that I was able to customize my cards exactly the way I wanted.
  • Custom Samples – Basic Invite is one of the few websites that allows customers the ability to order a printed sample of their actual invitation so they can see exactly how it will print as well as feel the paper quality before they ever have to place their final order. I didn’t use this option, but this would be perfect for someone ordering holiday party or wedding invitations. Getting to see the actual product before ordering and making sure everything is exactly the way you want it is a huge bonus!
  • Over 40 Different Colors of Envelopes – Basic Invite is just as colorful with envelopes as invitations. Customers can choose from over 40 different colors when it comes to their envelopes so that they can make their invitation stand out even before it is opened. An even better included feature is that all of the envelopes are peel and seal so the envelopes can be quickly and securely closed without licking a single one. I don’t know about you, but I hate licking envelopes… I feel like I might die from glue poisoning like Susan Ross… Does anyone else understand this joke? lol 😂
  • Address Capturing Service – Basic Invite offers an address capturing service that allows customers to simply share a link on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or any other form of social media to request their friends and family’s addresses which will be stored in the customer’s account and can then be selected during the design process. This is a great way to collect your friend’s and family’s addresses and they will be stored so you can always access them! Basic Invite also offers recipient address printing at no cost on all Christmas card orders. This was a huge plus for me so I didn’t have to write out over 50 addresses!
  • Mailing Service – For just $0.35 each Basic Invite will mail your cards for you. That’s less than the cost of a stamp! This is a perfect opportunity if you haven’t gotten your cards out and are in a rush to send them before Christmas.

With so many great features and an easy ordering process, there is no doubt you should order your holiday cards or invitations from Basic Invite. If you are still wanting to order your holiday cards and have them mailed out before Christmas, you can have your cards rushed and select the mailing service so they go directly out to your contacts. Also, Basic Invite is currently offering 30% off all holiday cards with coupon code: holi30

I hope you enjoyed this post and check out Basic Invite for your next event, whether that be a holiday party, baby shower, or wedding. Be sure to also check out their business cards and stationery kits! With so much to offer, there is no reason why you should pick anyone but Basic Invite for your printing services. I know I will definitely be choosing them again in the future! Holiday Cards from Basic Invite

Here are the photos I narrowed down for my holiday card … shout out to my boyfriend Corey for taking these beautiful pictures! One Saturday, we headed to downtown Canton because there is an outdoor ice rink and being a figure skater, I thought this was the perfect opportunity to get some photos.

(Typical skating picture pose 😂)
