A Day of Self-Care and Pampering in Cleveland

Urbane Society Salon

Last week I had the privilege to spend a day in Cleveland being pampered by local businesses. As a busy working professional, entrepreneur, blogger, girlfriend, friend, etc., I tend to ignore myself and wear myself out by keeping myself too busy. So when the opportunity arose to spend the day practicing self-care with some friends, I was all for it! It was a fabulous girls day of shopping, food, facials, hair, and makeup. A Day of Self-Care and Pampering in Cleveland

I received complimentary services in exchange for writing this post. As always, all opinions are my own!

I started off the day by driving to Cleveland and meeting up with Brittany Moffatt, Stella Compiseno, and Srebrenica Lejla. Hanging out with friends is probably one of my favorite forms of self-care and these girls are so fun to be with and talk to. Our driver, Tom, from Company Car & Limousine picked us up and drove us around town all day to each destination (talk about #TreatYoSelf). Tom was a great driver and so kind! If you are looking for driving services in the area, I highly recommend Company Car & Limousine and request Tom as your driver. They have everything from luxury black cars to limousines, party buses, and even large executive buses. So literally anything you need for your next event!

Retail Therapy at Fetch & Co.

Our first stop was at Fetch & Co. in Lakewood for brunch, mimosas, and shopping. I had been to the boutique once before at the beginning of summer so I was excited to return and see their fall clothing. Something I love about this local boutique is they have sizes small to 3XL in most of their styles so there is something for everyone! I tried on so many cute pieces, including the outfit I styled below. I ended up purchasing the cutest leopard print duster. I really did want to buy almost everything at Fetch & Co. but I didn’t want to hurt my wallet too much 😋 I’ll have to make another trip up there to do a little more retail therapy soon!

Skincare Education at Harmych Facial Plastic Surgery

Our next stop was Harmych Facial Plastic Surgery in Beachwood to meet with Nicole Rakityan (she’s the one in the glasses in the photo below). Nicole is a Medical Aesthetician who provides professional skin care treatments and at-home skincare regimes for all skin types and concerns. I haven’t had my dermaplane facial with Nicole yet, but just from talking to her about my skin concerns I was so impressed. She also discussed with us the importance of using SPF to prevent aging and keeping your skin fresh! Stay tuned for more information on my dermaplane facial experience in the next few weeks.

Fire & Ice Facial at North Coast Aesthetic

At our next stop, we did get a complimentary facial and it was so relaxing! Prior to our visit, I communicated with Irene Hatziantoniou about my skincare needs and current routine. Irene did the Fire and Ice facial on me and it made my skin feel amazing! The intensive resurfacing masque (fire) and rejuvenating masque (ice) work together to resurface your skin, reducing fine lines and wrinkles, smooth, soften, and encourage cellular renewal. Along with the facials, Traci McBride from TeeMcBee Image Consulting gave us some style advice and we got to chow down on some delicious food, including the best chocolate cake. Shout out to Irene and Tami for the best service!

Hair & Makeup at the Urbane Society Salon

Last but not least, we went to the Urbane Society Salon in Tremont where we touched up our makeup and had our hair styled by Suzanne Davis (the owner) and Tamra Malone. Urbane Society is Cleveland’s first membership-based salon, which I think is a pretty neat idea! Suzanne ended up doing a beautiful wavy style on me with a straightening iron and Tamra did my lipstick because I didn’t want to put too much makeup on after getting a facial. These girls were so personable and so fun to hang out with. Plus the salon is so cute!

If you’ve made it this far — THANK YOU for following along! The day was so much fun and it was nice to just relax and be pampered. If you want to see more content from the day, be sure to head over to my Instagram and watch my Cleveland stories highlight. Thank you to Brittney Moffatt for organizing this amazing day! I hope you all treat your selves to self-care and take advantage of the discounts I have provided from the amazing businesses we visited. Until next time!

XOXO,

Kasually Katie
